The Hand Behind the Work
“Why art?” I was once asked. Because art, for me, has always been the key that unlocks the unseen—the path of liberation, healing, and self-discovery I have walked since childhood. My room as a child, wrapped in wooden panels, felt like a box, yet through my creations, I found a way to escape, to breathe, and to expand. The process of creating made me feel powerful, capable, and limitless. I knew early on that art was the key to my personal and spiritual evolution. This realization guided me to study Fine Arts and Interior Design at George Washington University, where I earned both a B.A. in Fine Arts and a B.F.A. in Interior Design.
My art is born from the meeting point of inner opposites—a peaceful ground where extremes reconcile. It is a dance between cosmic forces, bringing forth wholeness from contrast: the simple and the complex, the smooth and the textured, the free and the contained. Through these tensions, I seek to reveal the beauty of balance and to celebrate the quiet strength that emerges from harmony.
I draw inspiration from the dual nature of existence—the chaos of nature on a grand scale and the intricate order within its smallest details. I find beauty in these dualities and in the harmony that arises when they coexist. My Middle Eastern heritage deeply informs this vision through the use of modernized Islamic geometry and arabesque patterns, which mirror the precision and rhythm of God’s creations on a universal scale. To me, these forms embody sacred geometry—a reflection of divine balance, interconnectedness, and the infinite perfection that underlies all of creation.
Art is my voice—the medium through which I share the gifts I’ve been entrusted with. It is the essence that heals my soul and the wand through which I spread love and joy. It fuels my desire to create, to give, and to grow. I create, I invent, I contribute—therefore I am.
